VHS release

When Jurassic Park hit the theaters on June 10, 1993 no one expected that the movie would become such a huge blockbuster smash.

On October 4, 1994 Jurassic Park was finally released for the first time on VHS in a 1 box collectors set. The VHS version for 1994 was only available in Full Screen format, not a big shock to many at the time. It wouldn’t be until September 9, 1997, when The Lost-World was released in theaters that people started seeing a special THX Widescreen edition of Jurassic Park.

Jurassic Park was re-released again on October 10, 2000 with a new video cover in anticipation for the first ever DVD release of Jurassic Park.
